Muley Success
« on: October 19, 2008, 12:36:56 AM »
Not a monster, but a legal buck.  Shot it on the 13th near Oroville.  Been busy making sausage, summer sausage, and bratwurst, and cutting back strap into steaks.  All meat is now in freezer and the samples I had taste great...

Don't ya just love the guys who tell us that mule deer don't cook up nice?

I'm always thinking something like "Fine. Leave the area, don't shoot MY mule deer and leave the cooking to me!"  :)

Again, congrats on a good looking buck!
